Meaning before decoration.I create a clear direction and a coherent whole. I build a visual concept in which image and message communicate exactly what they need to, to the people they are meant for. I also consider what captures attention, what feelings and associations the visuals evoke, and what makes a presence feel credible and memorable.

About me
Visual communication through the lens of psychology.
Welcome, I am Károly Petra, a photographer, illustrator and computer engineer. In visual communication, I am especially interested in how images affect us: what captures our attention first, what emotions they evoke, how they shape our impressions, and what makes a visual solution feel credible. I combine creative thinking with a technical perspective and my interest in psychology. For me, visual communication works best when it guides attention, makes the message clear and creates an emotional connection with the viewer.
What interests me most is the connection that happens between the image and the person.
Whether I am showing a person, an idea or a product, what matters to me is always the connection between the image and the viewer.
In my work, creativity, empathy and precision are parts of the same process: visual communication should not simply look good, but genuinely have an effect.
